I was just reading a post where a guy is looking for a f355 and one of the responses was to buy from Europe because of lower prices, over the 25year mark and etc

Of course who ever does this will need to do all the same things as if it was state side such as PPI, history checks and etc but also research the cost of importing and shipping

So the question is are the cars there any better

    Is rust a factor????

Is there any type of accident history reporting

Is easy to find service documents from dealers or service centers

Looking at what is being sold state side is limited and most are the same cars over and over again I do understand that it’s brings more availability to a lager market of cars but at what cost and is it worth it

As with any car from places where it rains, rust can be an issue but is easy to spot in the normal way.

The accident etc, for Uk this is recorded and a £10 check will tell you any recorded accident damage, also if there is any outstanding finance etc.

Service docs; depends. In the uk there is a fair amount of store paid to service history backed up with receipts etc. Missing bits can be pieced together but we have strong data protection laws here so some dealers won’t release info.
