    It sounds correct to me, as 2 of my cars were shipped there (Holland), so my guess is that's the place to send them to.

    i can tell you Italy has a VAT importing tax of 20%
    anibody has other country import rates?

    the UK has a 17.5% vat rate and (iirc) an import tax on top of that of 10%


    what ive been told is that once a car has been imported to an EU member country an the taxes are paid its then free to move throught the EU without incurring further taxes.

    That is correct, it can move free AFTER the one EU country has had the taxes paid...as of now HOLLAND/Netherlands is the lowest.

    thanx for your info guys, but i always thought that the import tarifs were the same in all the EU???

    its just a guess... becouse here in the gulf states we call the GCC its like that... same import taxe in all the gulf states

    EU def doesnt work that way.
