Anyone have any experience or advice in importing a European Enzo to Canada or to the US? I am not sure if it is possible, and if it is, if it too much hassle to make it worthwhile. Any insight or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    This will help C>US.

    Not sure about US>C

If you're going to buy an Enzo make sure all recalls have been done. I'd also have a very through PPI. If these cars sit they need attention before setting off.

Thanks for the info, but I think my post wasn't clear. I am looking to import an Enzo from Europe to Canada (preferably) or the US. It looks like the info you provided is how to bring a car from Canada to the US.

I believe Euro spec Enzo's, according to the same site different section, can legally be imported into the US BUT they must be modified and this is no small thing and I know of none that have been. The problem is that the euro has risen to the point where buying in Europe isn't what it was and IMHO it would be a lot faster and safer in that you'd have a no question US legal car to buy a US spec Enzo. The other issue is warranty. While Enzo's are out of warranty if you bought one from a US dealer you could get an extended warranty or at least a 30 day one that would make sure yours is OK. If somethings not it can get VERY expensive fast and parts are very expensive.

Another problem is getting the US spec parts you'd need to make the conversion. These are controlled by Ferrari and IMO they wouldn't necessarily make it easy.

Hey Jay. You might want to contact James Simpson from Autoforum, I think he imported one for a customer. Also, I think the guys from LoT brought one in as well. Best of luck!

Thanks Lucas. I think they imported them from the US, but I am curious about importing from Europe. Getting them from Canada to the US is pretty straightforward, but from Europe to North America is a different story (as Napolis illustrates above).

Your best bet: call Ferrari NA. Ask them about the car in question and they will tell you the details.

As others have said, if it is not already US spec, expect a world of issues!

Nope. It was accepted for show and display, quite different. So far as I know it hasn't crashed that was a different car.
