I am looking at bringing a LHD 246 into Australia. As they are over 30 years old, I believe these can now be registered and driven without too many problems.

Does anyone have experience with this, any issues to be aware of?

Is it possible to convert to RHD?

    Many thanks.

I think the only time that importing a LHD in to Aus would be worthwile would be in the following instances

    F40
    F50
    Enzo
    288GTO
Anything special if you get my drift.
or anything that your going to use for racing,

otherwise i dont think its worthwhile (personally)

I think Looney is right on this one.
ther is absolutely no reason to bring a LHD 246 to Aus.
It is probably worth the same money, or more, in it's host country and would have very little value here.
There are currently 3-4 good RHD available for sale at the moment, why bother with the hassle of LHD and conversion ??

I agree. Would the same logic apply to the purchase/importation of a 250 GTE or 330 GT 2+2? Especially if you want a certain colour and didn't care whether it was LHD or RHD...
