    Hi
Do a search in the Canada section, this has been covered several times. It depends on the year of your car. >15 years old is simple. <15 years old is not.

I imported an 87 328 3 years ago with little problem.

Consult this list to see if it's admissable... http://www.riv.ca/english/US_vehicle_admissibility.pdf
Carefull of the small print and asterisks.

If it is, start talking to a Canadian shipper, I used SeaRail 1-800-570-2720.
They can give you tips on the process, and they have great prices.

    Good luck!

I sold my '84 Mondial QV coupe to a guy up in Ottawa this summer, and he had some problems with Canadian customs because the car was a Euro-spec car and did not have the normal US build sticker on it. I provided a copy of the original importation papers, the state title papers and a separate bill of sale signed and notarized, and he eventually got it cleared. Assuming the t you are looking at was a US spec car and has all of the supporting tags and documentation, you should not have a problem. Do ask the seller for a separate "bill of sale" with an original signature, in addition to the official state title certificate. That may save you a hastle at the border.

Thanks to all who responded. That helped. Looks as though I am limited to August,2001 manufacture to get up to Canada. I have hankered after the 1993 with Valeo transmission as my selection for the prime Mondial model. Unless I can find a 1993 in Canada I won't be able to import one into Canada until 2008. Is there a view out there as to what is the best year and model for the Mondial cabriolet? I just assume it's the 1993 final editions.

    Thanks again for responding.
