    F-Chatters,

I have refined my thinking/parameters (always subject to change...) to a 1998 or 1999 355 Spider with an F1. I am leaning toward silver, blue or black as an exterior body color. If I get a 1998, I want to make sure it has the sinistered steel valves and as such will check that it is after the magic production number (as I understand it from other threads).

As such, I am considering three cars and would appreciate any comments on the history of these cars (if anyone knows), what to look out for, what is a good/fair price, etc..

    1. Ferrari of SF - 1998 F1 (TDF Blue with Tan)

Is the piping on the leather normal/factory?

    2. Ferrari of SF - 1999 F1 (Silver/Black)

    3. Ferrari of Atlanta - 1998 F1 (Silver/Navy)

I have test driven this one - runs strong IMO. There is some leather separating around one of the air bags and the dash - not a stretching issue however I believe and fixing it would be part of the negotiation.

Any comments on these vehicles would be appreciated and any insights as to how much these dealerships may or may not come off of the price as well based on dealing/negotiating with FofSF or FofA would also be very much appreciated.

    Kind regards, Steve

The assembly number should be greater than 27,689.
