242,000 KM of Smiles and F1 symphony

 

150K in an F355, heaven on earth...

 

Ha! its my buddies car, I have mentioned it on here before.

It drives superb still, you would never know its previous owner was captain Kirk

 

In fairness over the years everything from the engine, gearbox etc have all been rebuilt during that time so its essentially now a fully refurbished car.

Luckily for him all the work was paid for by previous owners, he just uses it occasionally, all that has had to be done in the last few years was a rear wheel bearing, a suspension automatic adjuster and a lambda probe.

 

So how many miles before the engine had to be rebuilt? That's the real question.

 

Like George Washington's hatchet. The head was replaced twice, and the handle three times, but it's still his old hatchet.

 

From memory it was around the 178k kilometer mark on the invoice, so not bad going

 

Your point being? its called maintenance if you are unfamiliar with the concept.

Its the same chassis, the same engine etc etc

Gorgeous looking Ferrari and that is definitely some serious km's on it.
