My proposal for changing the sport to make all of the teams more competitive........

I was at my folks home up in Carmel this weekend helping the clean out their house. Forgot that I had this there ! I've had this game since the early 70's as far as I can remember. Decided to bring it home and get the clutter out of their life.

I attend the world boardgaming championship
there are several good f1 racing games I usually play
one is formula de which is similar to your game but much more complicated
a very good game featuring different f1 tracks
    my favorite is speed circuit
it too uses f1 tracks which take up four large tables pushed together and instead of a plastic car we use matchbox f1cars
I use the Phil hill sharknose

I don't recall mine being a very fun game to play. We were more busy starting to race the Aurora HO cars. Much more fun as we built four lane raceways when we combined all of our tracks.
You can see that the cars in this game are "spec" cars as they are all the same.
