    Pretty entertaining race!

Huge points drama everywhere with both Fords having bad days (accidental for one, self inflicted for the other), the #5 DPi getting taken out before even crossing the starting line to start the race, the #10 Taylor entry blowing a transmission, and the Legge GTD entry finishing a few spots ahead of the #48 Lambo. It tightens everything up heading into Petite. Should be a fun one!

Mazda looked to finally be on pace to win until they spun out. That handed it over to Nissan to win. An impressive drive from the back after they, too, spun out.

Colin Braun is really taking over the #1 spot in driver of the year for me. The dude continues to basically race the entire damn race himself from the back of the pack to win or podium. It's so, so impressive to watch.

I haven't watched the entire race yet. Waiting for IMSA to put the replay on Youtube.

Regarding the start, didn't they at one point have the classes split and spaced out some on the starts. Maybe I am thinking of a different series, but a little bit of space between P, GTLM and GTD would have made a huge difference.

Petite is going to be interesting!

Did u see the Sheena Monk Lambo crash at the top of the corkscrew? (super Trofero race).... it was a bad one. Glad she is ok--amazing how good the cars and tracks are getting at safety to take a crash like that. It looked like 100+mph dead head on into the wall.

According to the Marshall Pruett podcast it was caused by driver error. Her foot somehow got stuck on the throttle.

She has already been released from the hospital so the injuries must not have been that bad.

Huh. The same thing happened to one of the GTD Lexus cars at Road America. His foot got stuck between the two pedals which made braking non-existent. Wrote the car off and they didn't have a backup with them so the car missed the race.
