There was a similar accident in that corner last year I think early on where a GTD Lamborghini went off there and barely scrubbed any speed.

When they can they hold off throwing the yellow till all the cars have gone past the pits before they close them. Obviously fir some incidents they throw the flag right away.

Diffy et al never mentioned the two GT cars colliding in front of the 6 Porsche just as he was exiting the turn, causing him to slow down. It was clearly visible in the helicopter view, both the crash in front of the 6, and the 6 slowing dramatically. Had he been able to carry his speed through the turn the 10 would have crossed the track behind him and the outcome would have been different.

I actually thought the Porsche GTP hit the Risi Ferrari which hit the Corvette. I think the 6 was cause, not effect.

It appeared to me that two GT cars crashed a few car lengths ahead of the 6, which slowed to avoid then and was collected by the 10. I didn’t record it so I have no way of checking it now.

Yep, Porsche could have won that one! Tough luck ...

To be honest, I expected better performance from Penske both at Daytona and at both Sebring races.
The Porsche 963 was no match for the Cadillac or Accura, and certainly not against the LMH Toyota and Ferrari.
It would be easy to blame BoP, but there seems to be more to it.

Having seen it again I think that’s possible.
