Haven't really been following it and don't know(or really care) what he said exactly. But, all those years to get where he is and it's gone in a few seconds. Too bad. I see that he asked if Sharpton had apologized for his Duke case comments. I guess it's different when the shoe's on a different foot. I'm all for putting a stop to discrimination but it has to be a two way street and not as a tool so that the supposed victims can walk around with their armor on and call someone a racist, anti-semite etc., to somehow further their own agenda. Hopefully some good will come of this but I really doubt it.
You have really good reason to doubt it, sadly. Race baiting is an immensely lucrative business these days. Especially for phony preachers with no visible means of support.
Some speculate that this could end up being profitable for Imus. He's free from his CBS contract and could potentially ink a deal with Sirius or XM.

the statement getting so much attention is "nappy headed hos" ya know, the same statement that EVERY BLACK RAPPER on this planet calls those females? i don't give a crap what he said. hes an entertianer and possess the same element as comedians. black people can crack jokes about blacks AND whites but the second a white comedian even tries to talk about the black race some moron is ready to blab his nappy headed mouth. even if we all agree that what he said was "wrong", unless they're gonna go after every rapper and comedian that has uttered those same words, SHARPTON and his posse are the ones being the epitome of racists however, sharpton and his monkeys arent what got imus pulled. it was the sponsors, which is just as ignorant. most people disagree with this whole thing and would have probably tuned into his show a hell of a lot more after this incident providing higher ratings.
Amen, Luffy! My mom and I went out to eat lunch yesterday and at the table behind us sat two black women that were both EASILY 350-400lbs. They ordered a plate of wings which was as big in circumference as a large pizza and it was stacked at least 6" high. My mom's friend called and she was telling him all about them, as we were both in disbelief, and she told him they were "nappy-headed." I swear I laughed so hard I nearly fell out of my damn chair. This situation is a joke, plain and simple. I've already stated my view over and over again in the other thread, which is now in the silver subscribed forum.
I hate it when these people make a big deal out of nothing because they have nothing else better to do....If they want to end racism they need to end the racist chit:quit stealing, quit dealing drugs, quit having 10 kids with 10 different people, learn to speak freakin english, quit crying over meaningless BS that no one else even thinks about, get off welfare, get a job, get an education, get some class....I could go on forever.
