    CECA will be hosting the Aspen car show again this year on August 25-27. Unfortunately, the Aspen Sports Car Club, who runs the Woody Creek track, will not allow the CECA to run the track day on Sunday. What a bummer - I don't know why the ASCC is so reluctant to share their facility. Last year, the track day went very well, I thought.
    This is the same weekend as the Morgan Adams concours, so might affect the turn-out. Anyway, there it is. Maybe I'll see you. -m

    Yes it is a very busy weekend indeed! You mentioned the Morgan Adams car and aircraft show. Here is a link: http://tinyurl.com/gsw7q . Some of you may wish to get involved in the tour. Show is amazing, great quality of cars and planes.

    The Summit Historics are also that weekend. This is the event that will hopefully be the precurser to having vintage roadracing in Summit County. Here is a link to the event put on by Nostalgia Racing Inc.: http://www.nostalgiaracing.com/summithistorics.html

    With so few quality events being held in Colorado it seems a shame that three fall on the same weekend. I'll be at Morgan Adams with the Bug. I hope to see many of you there.

    Hey Ron, didn't know about the Summit Historics, thanks for that! I won't make it to the Morgan Adams this year, hopefully next year! Take pictures for us poor shlubs who cannot go! :) -m
