I ran many sets of Kumho's on my Audi's for years, and they always performed very well and had great wear resistance --- especially for the price point...

They tend too be a little harder compound than many other performance brands, but unless you're on the track, you likely won't notice any dramatic effect on grip.

My guess is that you will be very pleased with these tires...

Had the on MY Boxster S, buddy runs them on his Noble.

I started a thread some months ago in the 360 forum about them. I had great luck with them on the Boxster S, of course the car came with them, so I can't compare to other tires but felt the worked very well on the car.

They are MUCH less expensive than any of the alternatives. I think there is a certain prejudice against anything that costs "less" than the original stuff on these cars. But we buy parts from Daniel at Ricambi that cost less than factory all the time and don't worry about the "quality", why wouldn't the same rule apply to tires, assuming the speed rating is correct and you like the "look" on the car. I'm not suggesting using an inferior tire, just a less expensive one.

I'm not sure yet, but I think I'll put them on the 360 next time. At this price, run 'em for a couple thousand miles to see if you like 'em.

I have a set on my BMW 525 right now and I'm really happy with them.
They do seem to take some time to warm up on cold mornings though?

Had them on a Buick regal i bought used(they were brand new)....they lasted 130,000kms, and never worn out :D:D:D:D

werent good in the rain, and worse in the snow, but the tread looked exactly the same until the first blow out, when the belt on the highway went right through. I would guess its more my fault for hammering them for so long. You get what you pay for, and i think for the daily driver they were great value for the money...not sure i would personally put them on my exotics....its like buying a Armani suit and then using a $20 tie....just doesnt seem correct.

I run the V700's on the rear of my Viper (963 rwhp 1005 lb torque) They hook up and take the abuse better that ANY other tire I've tried. I will probably use them on the 360 when it's time.
Like Dave said people look at the price and figure they aren't that good.

I've had Pirelli's and BF Goodrich tires come apart on me so far the Kumho's have done very well.

    MIKE ---

If one of those cars covered in snow is a Ferrari, then that is one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen!! Cheers to you!

Hmm, looks like you bought Toyo Tires, not Kumho's :D

That's the Toyo Proxes R888 line of tires.

Correct. The thread seemed to take a turn for discussion about various tire brands, so I figured I'd drop a couple pennies on the table :p
