    tonight died Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, a very well-known Ferrari owner.

    I would like to see as many pictures as possible from all the cars he owned.

    See above picture. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

    This is the 330 I bought this summer and in doing the ownership history I discovered that it was bought new by Prince Bernhard! So this car should be added to the list of cars he owned.

    I sent him 2 pictures and information on the car and asked him 3 questions

    Did you ever own the car?
    Did you take delivery new?
    Did you sell this car to your friend (author) Cornelius Ryan?

    here is his response:

    Dear Mr. Reese,

    His Royal Highness Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands has asked me to thank you for your letter of 27 October about the 1967 330 GT 2+2 Ferrari.

    The Prince's answer to your three questions is positive.

    His Royal Highness is pleased that the car is still in excellent condition and he hopes that it will give you many more years of pleasure.

    I am so glad I was able to discover this info on my car. As you can see it is Verde Scuro just like alot of his other ones. SN9119

    I just realized I drove his 330 around on the day he died. How fitting... I am sure he was up there smiling.
