I'm currently in the process of refurbing a set of HRE 505 wheels that I purchased from an Fchat member some time ago. Everything polished up nicely and I'm ready to put them back together, however, I'm having a heck of time finding replacement socket head cap bolts which mate the inner and outer lips with the wheel centers. It's an M8 x 1.25T x 45mm and is somewhat unique in that it has a built in flange. I've contacted HRE and have been told that they no longer carry this type of bolt. I've checked in with several online metric fastener suppliers and no one seems to have the version with the flange. Of course I can use another fastener, however, I'd love to try and keep the look of the wheels original. If anyone has a lead on these particular bolts I'd greatly appreciate it. In the meantime I've decided to turn the stuff into garage art.

Your wheels appear to be the older Japanese Hayashi Racing HRE's which are different than the US HRE's. I recently refinished a set of these as well. I bought new hardware from boltdepot.com and went with stainless Allen button head M8x1.25x45

I have my original hardware that I cleaned up, if you are interested in it I can take some pictures.

    Good doing business with you.

While on the subject for others, as mentioned in my PM, If anyone is looking for wider or different lips and barrels, rotiform.com can help you. They made me a new set of lips and barrels for my japanese HREs to my specs for a very reasonable price.

I also have some USA HRE parts for sale if anyone is interested. These parts are the same sizes as currently available from HRE.
