In Singapore later in April..where to stay

I am going to be in Singapore some time after the 15th of April. I am expecting to be there for a week or more, significant other has a family issue we are going back for. Ideally, rather than a hotel, I would like to rent a condo or apt. with housekeeping service. She will be occupied with the family a lot, they are from Indonesia, but in Sing. for medical treatment for her father. I would rather have more than a hotel room to spend my time at. Any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated. Best is around the riverside and quay area. I have done some web searching, not finding much. Thanks for any help from fellow F chatters PB
