My first thoughts too, when I saw it - this one almost looks fake. We took a bunch of shots here, and then out on a busy street.
If this image has truly not been edited, then I tip my hat to the photographer. There is only one guy in my town (that I know of) that could pull something like this off. I still cant comprehend how the burnt edges were produced with the sky in the windshield without post production. *I am not doubting the authenticity of the work, just amazed by the skill.
Maybe possible but pretty over the top if it is true. The shadow on mirror is straight down but there is a reflection on the front splitter. You can only hit the splitter with light from the front and behind to create the reflection. Then the Shadow from the front wheel (on the brake rotors) puts the light way forward and slightly above level. At the very least there are a LOT of light sources and very little interference between them. The alley is spectacularly clean and the dumpster is spotless. Plus the tiles are not in sharp focus, even directly under the car. This looks like a studio or photos shopped background. Great photo but I am skeptical that there was no post production on the photo.
First of its kind outdoor light setup in North America. It's a European lighting system (don't ask me about specifics, I'm not the photographer). I can tell you that the lights/strobes used were amazing to watch in action. Every time my buddy hit the button on his camera, the car and the space around it lit up like a bomb was exploding. Pretty spectacular. It drew a huge crowd, as the flash was something else.....I'm planning on getting the rest of the shots sorted next week and will post some of the best ones we got....
