Hi All, I have finally decided to buy a 360 and sell my 308 and my M3. I want a 2000-2001 (now that they are under $130K for the most part). But my question is, what are some of the common issues that go wrong with them? My 308 has almost 34K miles and has been super reliable. The maintiance is very inexpensive and fun to drive! I originally was looking to buy a F355, but between the dash problems, something I read on the cylinder heads, and then the maintiance cost, I decided to take the plunge and buy a car I will keep for another 20 years. I have had the 308 for 16 years. Any answers will be appreciated.

    Thank You!
    Robert

    Cam-variators
    Engine cradle cracking
    There may be more.
I am VERY happy with my 2000 360.
No frame crack and variators had been done.
Good luck you won't regret getting a 360.

Also the fuel gauge reading correctly on the dash has been an issue with the 360's. Not really a big deal for me I just go with the mileage count.

Having never owned a Ferrari before my 360 purchase I am completly satisfied with the car. Well, outside the cam-variator repair! Arghh! Make sure you buy a trickle charger and keep the car plugged in when not in use!

Your gonna love it! Be patient and find the right one!

Thanks, if these issues have not been taken care of, what should I expect for repair cost for the Cam Variators and the engine cradle cracking? Anything else that is a common issue with the 360?

    Thanks again

If I was you, I would just take the battery out since you really never drive the car anyway!!!!!!!!!!!! And the cam variators only go if the car gets driven more than a hundred miles a year, so you are all set. Keep lot's of wax on it so the dust comes off easy when you push it out of the garage so you can sweep the floor.

To all, no flames, I know Robert and he will understand ALL of this!
