I was checking out this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55445 and looked at the TDF Blue 430 that is on Ebay--it has daytona seats. I know the 430 seats are different, but what caught my eye is that they appear to have only 3 or 4 inserts (bars) on the seat cushion, and the bars look wide. So I go check out the daytonas in my car, and they have 7 bars on the seat cushion. I certainly don't claim to understand style (fashion, italian, or otherwise) but this seems to deviate even further from the original Daytona's seats (corruption of history?) and would also seems to be cheaper to make (sew?). I don't believe Ferrari decreased the cost of the option (Ha!)--wonder what the thinking is?
