Spoke with Larry (owner of the SSC Ultimate Aero) at the West Chester C&C this morning, and promised to post the following info for him here. Sounds like a fun show, will likely try to make it myself. No affiliation.

    Cheers!
    Dennis

    ---------------------------------------------

There is a really well organized charity event happening in Warminster, PA. (half way between NYC and Philly) on June 15th and 16th exclusively for exotics, super cars, and race cars. Larry (with the SSC) is the founder of a charity that is having a weekend fund raiser Super Car Show and Gala. 100% of all money raised goes to the charity.

CF Charities | Just another WordPress site

The Inaugural Gala and Super Car Show benefiting the CF Charities scholarship fund for graduating students of the Oral Health Academies of Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Gala is black tie/suit and has celebrities, race car drivers, show car owners, sponsors, Military Brass, politicians, etc. with top shelf food, open bar, live music, and a live and silent auction.

Some of us will drive down on Sat the 15th. Go to Larry's house Sat afternoon, then go to a hotel, change and go to the Gala Sat night. Drink, dance, eat, laugh and stay up way too late. Sunday AM, take the cars to the car show. Drive home Sunday afternoon. The entire event is on a retired military base, so the Gala is in NASA's Human Centrifuge where all of the Astronauts and Test Pilots did their G-Force training. It is still set up for an F-14. The Car Show will be on the Runway of the same base.

I spoke to Larry this morning and he sent me a ton of info about the Gala and Car Show. I have attached all of the PDFs to this email and links to the other info about the charity. Read it all to get the full picture, but I will summarize below.

    Gala - Sat 6:30pm to 11:30pm
    - $300 / person or $2,500 for a table of 10
    - Black Tie/suit
    - If we can get 20-30 people we can buy 2 or 3 tables!!!
    - Sean Ringgold (actor, motorcycle stunt rider, bodyguard) is the emcee
    - Jack Jacobs (National Speaker, MSNBC Military Analyst, Medal of Honor Recipient) will be a special speaker
    - Bill Patterson (renowned Motorsports artist will be painting live for auction)
    - NASCAR weekend with VIP access to the drivers, pits, driver's briefings, etc for the whole weekend is for auction
    - The Gala is NOT open to the public. It is only for sponsors and owners of the exotic/super/race cars that will be on display.
    - Because we are a great group of people and we welcomed Larry with open arms, we can attend the Gala even if we don't display our cars.
    - The venue is the old centrifuge where they trained all of the Apollo astronauts how to overcome the effects of G-forces. History

    Sun - Car Show
    - 8 to 9:30 cars arrive
    - Show 9 - 4pm
    - We all know Larry's SSC. He wants to get the best of the best at the show.
    - Porsche...GT2, GT3, Carrera GT...stuff like that.
    - Ferrari/Lamborghini/McLaren...all welcome.
    - Race Cars...Indy, NASCAR, GT3, Dragsters, etc.
    - You can display your car even if you do not attend the Gala on Sat, just drive down Sun AM.
    - If anyone knows any Super / Exotic car owners and they want to display their car, please chime in.
    - Can anyone contact Michael Fux???? I know he has his own charity, but maybe he would join in!
    - The organizers will make the call on if your car meets his needs.

The call to action right now is to try to confirm attendance for the Gala and register for the car show. We can either buy individual tickets or buy a few tables.

Please email any questions to [email protected] and they will address them or hopefully Larry will chime in.

We always say that we should do more charity. Well, here is a chance!!!!

Attached you will find an invitation and RSVP for the Gala. Please view the following links for more information about the charity and the events.

    Thanks Dennis for the posting.

Lots of Ferrari's coming, but we are still looking for an Enzo to be in the show. Does anyone know someone who might participate with an Enzo in the NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD area?

    Thanks

Panther Racing just gave us (4) VIP Pit Passes and (4) Rides in their Indy Car to any 2013 Race!!!!!!!

We Pick the race - Sonoma, Los Angeles, Houston, Baltimore, etc...

Panther is the National Guard Indy Car, and they have a 2-Seater Indy Car that they will take us on the track with, regardless of which race we pick. You could be ripping through the streets of Baltimore or Houston, or out in wine country for the Sonoma race.

We will be auctioning this off at the Gala. I envision 4 of us going to an Indy Race for the weekend, hanging out in the Owner's Box, In the Pits, down with the driver during the National Anthem, high-five before he climbs into the car, headsets for listening to the team's race communication and in the Pit Box for the race. What an awesome weekend!!!

NASCAR Weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway - September 20-22

In addition to the Panther Racing Indy weekend up for auction at the Gala on June 15th, now we have (2) NASCAR VIP Pit (Hot Passes) for the entire weekend, including VIP access to all three races (K&N on Friday, Nationwide on Saturday, and Sprint Cups on Sunday) including qualifying. This includes "Meet and Greet" with some of the drivers, sitting in on the driver briefing for the race, standing next to the driver for the National Anthem, in the pits for the races, and more, and this is all weekend long.

If that wasn't enough, the K & N NASCAR being run by Corey Joyce Racing is going to wrap their car in anything you want for the race. This can be your company logos, your family, or "Hi Mom" if you want. You pick the color scheme and let them know what you want on the car for the race.

Of course the race will be rebroadcast on the Speed Channel. When will you get a chance to have your company logo on a NASCAR????

Thanks Corey Joyce, and of course he will be at the Gala to meet him and take pictures.

Might want to let them know that they have Warface instead of Warfare on the board.

    Details about the drive:

We will be leading a group of cars to the inaugural 'Super Car Show' in Warminster, PA. The weather is going to be amazing for the entire weekend and we expect a wonderful showing of cars. That being said please feel free to spread the word and to join in with the cruise, we will be making two stops along the way to pick up cars.

Please reference the times below as an approximate guideline for the drive this Sunday...

6:45am departure from Harrisburg. PA: Meeting at the Red Lobster at Colonial Park to be on the road by 7:00am

8:15am arrive in West Chester at Starbucks (where they host C&C) to pick up a second group of cars, on the road by 8:30am

Lastly, the drive from Starbucks to the show is exactly one hour, and we've allotted a stop along the way to pick up one last group of cars along the turnpike. We will arrive by 9:45/10:00am that morning to the show.

More details will be posted and if you would like to add your input, please just comment below.

Its going to be a wonderful Father's Day weekend and I cant think of any better way to celebrate than with cars!

Will make a list of those join us as well, feel free to add yourself if interested.

Great time Saturday night at the FUGE.....thanks again for putting this on Larry and for reaching out to the "car guys" to participate. The highlight for me was the live painting of the Enzo by Bill Patterson. That was reallllly cool to see in person. Already looking forward to next year....

Looks like you guys had a great turnout! Couldn't make it up, but I did catch a quick blurb on it on Action News.
