I guess my first post should have read "has this car ever resided in the L.A. area"? I apologize for making a statement that is negative without first asking the proper questions. I was offered a V.I. car with this same mileage in L.A. with driver side damage, cash deal only.

Well, I have posted the VIN so maybe that will help you advise if this is the same car or not..?

I can say is a FULL PPI by an authorized Dealer revealed no paint work or accidents. Tires at 45%, which will be replaced, Clutch at 62% remaining via snap shot. It does have three outstanding "campaing recalls" that will be perfromed by my Local authorized Dealer here in Seattle prior to going to another new owner.

Do you have any further details for me, pics, extent of damage..who and where you where offered this car..?

I would like to get to the bottom of this one way or another..I dont need a cloud over this car if it iis not the same car..if it the same car it goes back to the Dealer that wholesaled it to me for a full refund of our purchase price..

    Thanks Roy Cats

If you aquired this car from the L.A. area then PM me. I don't want to say anything negative, especially if this isn't the same car.

I appreciate this response Roy. I have been following this thread, as I plan to own a verde G car some day; if I can ever stop buying real estate instead.

Roy has always shown on this board that he wants to know the truth about a car and we all respect that integrity very much. If this car was a manual I may have to think about switching over to the dark side, love this color on a Gallardo.

Looking forward to what we discover about this particular car.

Well I spent a lot of time to get to the bottom of this car...and here is what I cam up with after about 45 phone calls and chasing he said she said, I heard this etc etc..

YES, the car had a "MINOR" mishap, backing into alow hangin railing in a parking lot. So minor and in a small area that the PPI failed to come up with it...why I dont know, I am not a mechanic..but was told they missed it and apoligized for it.

The car was repaired at at North Hollywood Auto Body, which has been the reapir location for Lamborghini since LOC was in Business. When contacted they where kind enough to send me the pics of the car during repair and are sending me a copy of the work order for my records. As told to me by the Body Shop, it was a very very minor item and it was repaired in less than two days.

I thank all for "sniffing" this one out for me...I guess maybe the "other" car with Drivers side accident is somewhere else..? Cuase it sure is not this one.

HOWEVER in light of this information, I will reduce the price on the car to $127,500 for board members ONLY..and IMO is a HELL of a Deal.

I think this car would llok BAD ASS with Black wheels and Green Brake Calipers

FYI, the car is currenlty getting its authorized 7500 miles full service as well as 3 open recall campaigns compeleted at the Authorized Lamborghini Service Center, tires are at approx 60% thread wear remaining.

Well I am not sure of the other one or if it is minor or not...or if it even exsists..
from your quote early in the thread...this statement makes is sound pretty serious..I would not say "MINOR" as you call it now.... describes "driver side damage" but please if you come across this "other" car...it needs to be brought to the attention of this board...IMO

If no one else noted.....I just want to mention that anyone with a diminished value insurance issue has some evidence for a settlement valuation within this tread.

Once again the car had same milage. I talked to the person selling this, as they stated, "celebrity owned car". They stated rear end damge, maybe they were wrong about the side. I didn't go look at the car after they told me about damage. I believe they had pics on line with a 560 type nose on the car. But at least my post got you to investigate come clean about your car.

Also just so you know, 2 weeks ago a beautiful titanium 6'o in nevada backed into a concrete post on the driver side. Very minor damage to the rear bumper leaving a number of hairline looking cracks on the driver side.

"come clean"? Are you implying Roy is lying about only discovering the damage after he listed the car here?
