Greetings everyone, I'm pretty excited about returning from the Chrysler Mega block party Sunday, They shut down Great America and opened it just to Chrysler cars. In case you don't know, I founded the Chicagoland PT Cruiser Club. My car was picked to be one of 25 on display in the custom section, and I also made the cut to the top ten list. Here is what I mainly wanted to share. The 10 finalists were judged by certified people, not owners. I was intrigued by the fact they even used the plastic baggie test to detect any foreign contaminants on the finish, Forunatley I clayed my car the night before and I'm convinced that is what got me in the final count. Whether you own a Pontiac or a Ferrari, when you enter a real show with judges, it is best to make sure the "Details" are in order. Speaking of details, I want to invite anyone from the forum here a complete professional detail job, for $50 off. I don't do this often, but you guys have been good to me so I wanted to throw something back in return. Anyone see the Herald yesterday, I was featured in the Auto section because of that Oprah deal.
