Curious if you’ve had a chance to drive the Senna and if so, how does it compare to the Mac’s you owned? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have. Spent extensive time in one. Senna is a beast. Power wise I would say it’s similar to the 765- little quicker but not much. Where it shines is the corners. It’s got downforce like nothing I’ve experienced. It’s planted. But it’s a big car and you feel it. Not nimble but more like Barry sanders- able to just plow through anything. As an occasional car - amazing. As a regualr driver- it’s a harsh ride. You feel every nook and cranny of the road. Brilliant car. But it’s something that would maybe be my 3rd or 4th car. Probably not my one and only.
If you have some free time this Friday (9-1), I'm doing a track day at AMP. I'm pretty sure I can take passengers. So, if you are totally bored... come out!
I’d love to but have a tee time Friday am. Golf is more important than track day! Lol. Thank you though- I’ll join you one of these days.
Wanted to update the driving experience on the 675. I can understand after a couple hundred miles of hard driving why this car has been such a cult classic. Its epic. Its better than any Porsche Ive owned. Its not as powerful as some Ferraris Ive owned but its just as engaging. While its not as powerful as my 765 spider, the sound is epic. Its a deeper sound than the 765 and the lack of power (relatively speaking) could be a blessing. Its not so powerful that every time you slam the gas that it feels like you are going to lose control. Its got great pick up especially as the rpms pick up. The steering makes you feel connected, the visibility is great, the looks are everlasting. Its a 7 year old car that looks like it was just created. Super happy with the ownership experience of this vehicle.
To order fenders from the factory (MSO) would cost 12k. Roof scoop car is rare. Roof scoop with fenders even more rare. should I do it? I’ll keep the original fenders and hang them off my wall.
I would, the louvers were a major part of the look of the 675. I hadn't noticed your car didn't have them, but the few I've seen here had them and they look great.
We’re going to go back to that neutral setup where we just enjoy cars and people’s adventures. No need to throw names around. Let’s elevate and separate. Thanks. Robb
Thank you. While I appreciate you moderating and editing my post, which was the right thing to do, my only ask is that you guys are as efficient in moderating, editing , banning when a complete idiot highjacks a thread and acts like a petulant child. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/296-vs-artura.661044/page-8#post-149196148
We are on the same page. The report button is our friend and the mods appreciate heads up as the group of us are not all on at the same time or see all the posts going on. Robb
After all of these months, if you had a choice between these 3 which one you will pick? 675LT Spider, GT4RS, 458 Speciale I got really nice deals on all, as I got allocation for GT4RS, also a low mileage 675LT that cost the same as a loaded GT4RS, Speciale is higher priced but have a friend who willing to give at 150K more than these 2 options So out of these 3 which one you think more rewarding to drive + can hold it's value if not increase, I can be sure that GT4RS or Speciale will increase in value but not so sure about 675LT though
I dont mean to be rude to the Porsche fans but under no circumstances can you compare a Porsche to a Mclaren or Ferrari. Dont get me wrong- they make nice cars but a GT4RS is severely underpowered compared to the Mclaren and Ferrari. Overpriced as well. The hype is not worth it at all. This is coming from a previous Porsche owner who has had 3 GT3s (one touring, one winged) and an RS amongst other Porsches. GT4? nice sports car but overpriced (with the ADM) and overhyped. Between the 675 and the Speciale? I think from a driving perspective, I would prefer the Mac- I have little seat time in the speciale but having owned both the 765 and the Pista at the same time- my preference was the Mac. But the Speciale is well, special and I think an argument can be made for either one. Certainly I think the Speciale will have more prestige long term being a Ferrari but the 675 has a cult like following. So for me personally 675/Speciale - probably a toss up if not a slight edge to the Prancing Horse. GT4RS? zero interest in the car. Severely underpowered with only 500 hp.
Thanks for the reply, i will take your comments into consideration, so far leaning towards 675LT as it only have 5000 miles while Speciale I found is 12K miles, also 675 spider prices being same as coupe while Mclaren using Carbon tub seems its a good time to buy one now, I wish I can find roof scoop version of 675, it will be instant buy from me but so far couldnt find and Im sure they are very limited, heard its 70-80 pieces world wide.
Only 18 roof scoops in the US from what im told. If you are going for 675- either get the spider or a roof scoop coupe. The regular coupe would be 3rd on my list. Right now there are 2 roof scoop cars on Autotrader. One at Miller motorcars and another at Mclaren Charlotte. Mouse Motors (Mclaren Chicago) also has an orange one that they are listing in the 450k range.
Unfortunately someone bought the orange one last week from MM. That latest BAT car was a great buy for someone.
