    So I responded the other day on the thread about a 348 vs 355. Well, I took the plunge on a 348 today, 87302. :) I'm pretty stoked. A one owner car for most of its life, it was sold to the second owner last year. He drove it 400 miles or so but is really a Porsche guy and he has another Porsche incoming so half-heartedly listed the car and I just happened to have started searching for a 348 so it just all came together quickly.

    Argento on red, fully complete with books, keys, tools, records, etc. Not that it has that many records on it because it only has 12700 miles on it. It last had a major though 14 years ago so I'll take care of that as soon as it gets here.

    Otherwise the car is extremely clean. I plan to love it, drive it, and enjoy it for many years. A perfect companion to my grigio on red 400i 5-speed. It took me 8 years to buy that car--I "followed" it for years through 2 or 3 owners before finally taking the plunge. This car was much faster. haha...

    Very many thanks go to a certain someone who visited with the car and its current owner and provided me with a wonderful write up and a lot of pictures which helped in the decision. You know who you are. :)

    Wow. So I was glancing through pictures and I think the car even still has it's original tires on it. Bridgestone RE71s, which are mentioned on the original window sticker. Man, I'm stoked.     The real question is, does it still have the original air from the factory? If so, i would syphon it out and save it in a balloon then sell it with the car at a premium when the time comes ;)
