I finally received pictures of my car on the production line,(or at least A picture in the right colour.. ) dated 18th March, my dealer told back me in January that UK delivery would be April but after all the false promises I have had I take this with a pinch of salt.
    Fingers crossed....

I got a total of three pictures (frame with primer, painted frame and completed car at end of production line) within a 2 or 3 day time frame. I have heard it takes about a month after the car is built for it to delivered to US customers. Should be quicker in the UK I would think.

How does this work...I placed an order for an F12, apparently the factory recently "accepted" the order...does the factory email me directly, or do I go through my Dealer?
    Thx

I was told by my dealer that the factory will email the photos to you. The dealer can also access the photos if they check modis, and they can send them to you as well. I was told my 458 was beginning to be built last week, but have not heard anything this week. I was also told that it will take most likely 8 weeks for it to be delivered after the build is complete. Congrats on the F12

In my case (I bet this is typical) the dealer provided my name and email address to the factory along with my order details (I ordered a Speciale). My order was submitted in November. Then after a surprisingly long period of absolutely "no news" I received an email around March 10 from Ferrari with instructions on how to sign up on their website and view information on my Speciale including pictures. naturally, the pictures weren't there so I thought I must be doing something wrong. But I just kept checking the website a couple times a day and, voila, a couple days later the pictures started showing up :) I got all three pictures and according to the dates in the captions provided with each picture they were all taken within a few days.

Well just after posting, I checked my e-mail and I found that my car has now gone to stage 40 production! Goes to show if you don't think about it, it seems to go much quicker. No photos yet though

My "completed car" picture showed up within a day or two of the others... Keep checking :)

Hi. How do you learn at which stage your car is at? Your post says you checked your email and found this information. The only email I got from Ferrari was an email informing me how to set up an account at my.ferrari.com so I could see pictures of my car in the production process. I've looked all around this website for any information about what stage of production, but I'm guessing in my case that my Speciale was almost done when they emailed about setting up an account.

The email I got was com my dealer and not Ferrari. My understanding is that all updates come from the dealer. I am set up on my ferrari but I have not had any news from them (Ferrari)

Funnily enough, I got the same news yesterday - stage 40, which I already checked is assembly pre engine and transmission (so wiring etc.). I spec'd my Soeciale at the factory so I have a picture in my head of exactly where this is. No doubt today it will 'turn the corner' at the end of the factory and head back down for final assembly with a beautiful (and hopefully reliable) engine in the back of it for the first time! The engine and transmission are installed at the far end of the line as it turns to head back.

    Exciting!!

Seems to have come around quickly! Although the collection date may still be about a month or so away.

Mine Speciale was at stage 60 on March 10th and now it's on the boat. But I haven't received the pictures and MYFerrari PIN... A bit disappointed I guess my car will arrive before those pictures...

Your dealer might have access to the pictures.

I'd rather be in your position...no pictures but car on the way :)

the production line pictures are kind of a dud if you think about it. Better than nothing I guess. But if someone inside Ferrari who gave a sh*t about "the Ferrari buying experience" looked at the three lame pictures (two are lame and the final one is "okay") they give to their customers they'd be completely embarrassed.

Our delivery dates should be pretty close. You received the final picture in mid March right?

The last picture I received of my Speciale was posted on March 13. The caption said it was completed and was being turned over to a test driver to be put through its final paces on the road, and then on to final quality control to ensure it is ready for delivery.

I don't know how the delivery timing works, but I think my dealer told me I'd get it about a month or so after it's built. Sooooo I'm guessing mid to end of April :) I hope!
