Has anyone placed an order before and a completely different build appears under your account?
Did you change your order? I changed my order and for some reason the dealer has the old order on the account. He says it is no issue. I would chat with them to make sure.
I agree, speak with your dealer, they may have entered something incorrectly. I've changed my 488 Spider build a couple of times over the past month, and after updates by the dealer they always reflected the correct build in my account. Jim
I assume you're referring to the "owners website"? if so, yes, the images there seem to be "stock" images of the car, not reflective of your config (o.e. not a snapshot like you'd pull off the configurator) If you click on the details, they should represent the correct specs (eg. colors) but they don't list ALL the options. For good or for bad, the actual order sheet your dealer submits is the key document....when you get your car, be sure to ask for the actual build sheet for your records (though current gen cars have all the details on a plate in the car now). Of course, mistakes have been known to happen between the dealer order and the factory
This is normal, the same happened to my 488 build. The reason being is your dealer submits a "default" configuration in order to reserve/hold the allocation. Even when you look over the options, it may not have anything to do with your original order. Mine only got updated very late in the process on the My Ferrari site. Just give it time.
Since my order was posted on my "MyFerrari" account, I too was concerned because it was missing a few of my chosen options. My dealer assured me that they, for some reason, often neglect to post a few in there. Who knows why. Anyhow, the important thing is what your MODIS2 factory order says. Your dealer should easily be able to give you a copy of that. That is what goes to the factory. Sure enough, my car was delivered correctly, with all the options I specified. Good luck.
I am so glad I found this thread. I just got access to myferrari today, and sure thing the details are not showing the daytona seats or the carbon air vents. Also for some reason I cant download the wallpapers. And fun fact, although i cant download them, I can still see the miniature pics of them, and the one for my interior is showing the daytona seats... not sure about the carbon vents though, as the pic is too small! As you probably already know, do not be concerned about what you see regarding your build on your my-ferrari page. Frankly, I can't figure out why they even have that info available considering it doesn't appear to be important enough for the factory (or whomever controls it) to insure the info is accurate. Mine, like many, was not close to accurate, but the actual build was perfect. If you have any concerns, voice them to your dealer, they are responsible for the order. That said, I suppose one defense in their favor is that we buyers tend to make changes all the way up to the "no changes permitted" date, so why worry about keeping it current..... Jim
Hehe you are right. Digging in a little further, it seems that the build on the myferrari page is showing the same limitations than the online configurator. In my case, if I try to select the Daytona seats on the online configurator, and I already selected the full eletric, ventilated seats, it tells me these are not compatible. The dealer confirmed they were indeed compatible. Similarly, there is nowhere in the online configurator for the Lusso, where you can select the carbon fiber air vents. So basically it looks like there is a guy in Maranello, trying to replicate our order from the online configurator, but basically limited to what is available from the online configurator. Anyway, I feel much better now that I see nobody really gets an accurate build on myferrari, but everybody gets the car they ordered!
I just had this same issue. I emailed Ferrari Italy of my build sheet given to me by my dealer and they corrected the MyFerrari page a few days later.
