Tony you are a class act and a good man. Thank you for helping me and repairing my car late at noght after the launch part so that I did not miss the Rally. I would like everyone to know what you did for me tonight

Tony with T and R Automotive saved me from not being able to go on the Rally. After most people had left the launch party I went out to take my 355 back to the hotel. It would not even turn over. It was dead and the prospects of joining the Rally in less than 12 hours seeed bleak. FoSF did not have jumper cables or the allen wrench needed to get to the jumper posts. LG Exotic Auto Transport, up from LA with there beautiful red transport, had jumper cables but no allen wrench. I was thinking even if I can get a jump there is no way I can go across the state with a bad electrical system. Most people were gone, but it turned out Tony of T and R Automotice had not left. He had athe llen wrench and with his help and LG's jumper cables we were able to jump it. It would still not start. It is dark, cold and with the flashlight app on my cell phone Tony, in his good dress cloths is checking everything out. He thinks it is a bad battery. It is less than 2 years old.

He says, I am going to my shop (we are in Mill Valley and his shop is in San Fransico), I will be back in 20 or 30 minutes. He is gong down to get jacks, tools and a new battery for my 355. He comes back with all of the tools, battery and one of his guys! By this time it is going on 10:30 at night. He still has not taken time to change out of his dress cloths. The car is up, the old battery is out and the new is installed in no time. All the while he is checking to make sure it is the battery and not the alternator or some other problem.

He says, get in and try it now. It fires up immediately. The place is cleaned up and the car is back on the ground. By this time it is after 11 at night. Things could have been worse. It could also have been the next night in Santa Barbara. This expereince also allowed for me to get to know Tony a bit better. What a great guy and a class act. Tony, you are alright. Thank you for your tremendous service and help. You turly saved the day for me. Without you, the 2011 FOG Rally would have been short one F355.

I am glad it was not something more serious. Would not have thought of leaving you behind. That is what FOG is all about!
