I am thinking of looking for a 360 over the next 6-months or so.
Is there a trustworthy Tech/Mechanic/Garage to get PPI's done and have service done in Silicon Valley... esp South Bay/Los Gatos area ?
What are prices like compared to the official dealer for Major/Minor services ?
    Thanks

Silicon Valley Auto Group is in Los Gatos...I know they do Ferrari work, can't speak to it beyond that. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to elaborate on them.

Berkeley so a little NorthEast of where you want.

Regarding prices, a number of independents recently quoted me more than Ferrari of San Francisco for a clutch replacement, go figure.

I do not know if we were one of them but my shop and several others quote the job with all the updates. The dealers are not doing that. The actual out the door price for the dealers is usually very close to $10,000. That is never the quoted price.

One of my clients was quoted $5000 for a 348 major service by one of the shops suggested in this thread. By the time they were done it was $18,000 and then it came to me to fix it. Dont fall for the time honored bait and switch.

    Wasn't you :)

But I did note the wording of the FoSF quote "approximately" ... which set alarm bells ringing, however if someone was doing work on my car and the bill skyrocketed like that they'd be putting the car back together at their expense so I could find someone else to do the work, or having a nice chat with my lawyer....
