Good morning. I'm hoping I can get some help.

I have a US spec 1975 308 GT4 that came to me without an indicator relay.
Does anyone know an appropriate relay that is available in Australia that will work for me?

I have tried a couple of relays from Repco, that are similar to an American Napa EP35. The closest I can get to it working is a buzzing sound from the relay.

    Cheers,

    Stew. (Tamborine Mountain, QLD)

Any standard thermal flasher should work, unless you have LED lights

Thanks Patrick, I have tried a thermal 3 post relay, and an electronic one. Both with no luck.

One thing I wasn't sure off though. None of the actual indicators are connected, I just have loose wires at the moment (project car). Could I assume that I would still see the indicator lights on the dash working, or do all of the lights/bulbs need to be installed for the system to work properly?

    Thank you.

System won't work without lights and bulbs installed.

Electrics 101 - you need resistance

This is what I have going on. I am sourcing globe holders, headlights, connections etc now.

I've been able to determine driving lights, headlights, highbeam, tail, brake, reverse and side marker lights just by turning them on in the cockpit and then sticking my test light into different plugs.
I was hoping indicators would be the same, but I will wait till I have everything together and all globes in. Hopefully they'll just work, if not I will troubleshoot from there.

    Thank you, Stew.
