    Guys

None of my indicators are working, either indvidual or on the hazard warning switch? checked the fuses and all seem ok? (breakers not broken)/ Could it be the flasher unit itself? if so where is it located?

    Thanks for any help

check your aerial and/or chigarette plug.
if these function it's not the fuse, if not it surely somewere around the fuse.

otherwise check the relay, i must look it up but i'm pretty sure indicators and hazard is the same relay

Thanks for the quick reply. Electric arial did not work, I changed the fuse over and it now works but the indicators do no? they flash on when I turn the alarm on/off? I seem to recall the fuse blowing when I press the cigarette plug in some time ago, but have not used it since?

So electric arial is working but indicators not?

do you have current on the chigaretteplug as well? aerial may have been lead single.
anyway, if the plug does work look for the relay than.

edit, actually it is quite strange that your aerial did not work until you changed the fuse.
their might be some contact-issues involved. the fusebox of the 328 is quite sensitive to " handpushing" the contacts.
(i did remove it once to clean all contacts after removing them layer by layer, took me two and a half day but after that never had one single electricity-issue since)

By all means do not overlook checking those three big connectors that couple the column switch at the steering column. Check and clean them. Hope this is of some help.Jacques.

I will pop into the garage in the next 15 mins and the ciggy plug again.... I don't here any clicking noise from the flasher unit anymore?

Would you clean the contacts on the appropriate fuse connection?

Ok, just checked the ciggy plug since putting a new fuse in last week. (ie the arial did not work)! any way pressed the plug and pop! arial now not working! checked inside the ciggy hole and there sits a bit of metal from a plugin charger! removed it and replace the fuse and bingo aria and ciggy work! but still no indicators!

Which plugs on the steering column should I be looking at?
