Indoor Karting in Buffalo Grove

Anyone have experience at this facility?
I am trying to arrange a minimum of 8 guys for Sunday March 16th, if anyone is interested let me know. I think it's about 100 bucks...

 

I was there for an enduro race on the full track about 2 months ago. We had 13 teams of 2 for an hour long race.

It was a RIOT! A ton of fun. The karts are not little kiddie karts - they are fast and a challenge to drive. Unexpected - After two 15 minute sessions 15 minutes apart I was exhausted. It takes pretty much all your strength to steer the thing - you pull crazy lateral g's, far more than in any street car. I was drenched in sweat after each session. My arms and shoulders hurt for 3 days afterwards. It's also hard on your wrists. Without a neck brace under your helmet you couldn't hold your head upright.

It's definitely "grown up" fun. The karts oversteer, it's easy to spin out or drift the back out around corners.

Highly recommended! Especially if you are able to run on the full track. I don't know how the half-track setups work. On the full track lap times were about 30 seconds. My teammate and I got in about 110 laps total in an hour with 2 driver changes.

 

it's a lot of fun, let me know about the group thing and a friend and I might join.....not for sure yet, but I've been wanting to go back for a while now.

 

Im a regular there and run as often as I can and have done several 200 & 300 lap team enduro's. Definiately alot of fun & a heck of a workout. My longest stint on the big track was 87 laps. Ill be there Mar 22nd for a runoff of Milw area drivers. I caught word of another 300 lap team enduo w/ minumum of 3 drivers (5 driver changes & 2 gas stops required) sometime in late March as well. If its happening, im going to put a team together & captain it.
