    Hello,

    I just bought a 430 and find out the both lock switches and not functioning...

    Door are closing well with the remote !

    So before dismantling the whole door panel to check the switches, is there something else to check ?

    I was wondering because it is weird that both sides ares not working !

    I have the same issue with my 430. I can lock the doors with the key either manually by inserting in the door key hole or by pushing the button in the key. The inside switches do nothing.

    can you lock the door using the fob while the engine is idling and nobody's in the car(doors shut)?

    I would start the investigation in this order;
    The fuse, grounds, the relay, the switch, and wiring

    Well, since the remote locks & unlocks the door it has nothing to do with the fuse, grounds or relay..................

    I would focus on the lock linkage (rods) in the doors & then the door latches where the lock linkage attaches.

    If one of the rods is misadjusted it will affect both doors. One of your doors interior locks may not be physically moving far enough to engage the lock solenoid.

    Recently my passenger's side interior lock lever would not lock the doors. The driver's side worked normal & locked both doors.

    What I found was excessive play where the rod end attached to the lever in the interior door handle. I put a bushing in the lever & readjusted the rod.

    The length of the rod sets the angle & total travel of the interior door lever. You adjust it so when the door locks the lever flush with the handle.
