    Track opened yesterday for rookie orientation. Will Power lead a trio of "rookies" past 220 mph. Rahals, Foyts, Andrettis, it sure is nice to have some old family names around. Looks like a good week weather-wise leading up to qualifying weekend.

    Hope for a safe and exciting race, glad to have everyone back together also, even if it DID cost Houston's race this year!

    The photos on the IMS website were bitmaps, so I grabbed that one off of Graham's site. You can sure tell he is a 19 year old all American male by the pics on his page.

    LOL! You made me "Google" the cute Yellow Hat that saved me from the weather, during a Rain Delay once...looks like she's graduated college in Indy and moved to Florida..

    Her Dad was a doctor in the infield Hospital, so she knew the dangers of hypothermia....:D :D

    Which reminds me of the question about who is paying for his ride because it certainly isn't his sponsors. All but one, that is.

    In 3-5 years, this will become the premier race once again. I keep renewing my seats, can't go this year, but in 2009 I'll be sitting in E Penthouse once again.

    Good day today at IMS. Marco Andretti on top with a 226+

    Even got a laugh and comment out of Danica when I mentioned the trophy photo with Helio. Had fun, pics tomorrow.

    That Yellow Hat is right next to my largest trophies, brudda!

    She was so very cute, just hanging out...we lost touch but I'd love to see her again..

    I was married at the time, not so, anymore! :)

    Woo Hoo! Pics Please. I'm coming out of Chicago Thursday. Got a room downtown to be at Fast Friday. Been to every USGP, but haven't been to Indy since 95. My protest is over.

    It will be on ESPN-9 (which I think is the same channel that they show college water polo matches on)

    Its a real shame... I lived in Indiana as a young kid, and I just don't recognize "THE MONTH OF MAY" anymore. The race went from being a month long party, to a half day TV event on the high number channels

    It will be on ABC, on the 25th, same day as Monaco. I wonder which I'll be watching :rolleyes:

    If any of you are on the fence about this race, go for it. There was a pretty good buzz in the air each time someone made a run and the big names, Cart teams, IRL regulars really has restored alot of the luster to the event. Hope you like the pics:

    SMS, did you have special passes for the garages or was that public? I always had pit lane and Gasoline Alley but it was tied to a suite that has been sold.
