Would love to see Indycar back in Europe but on road courses (no ovals particularly not in rainy England duh). To see them race at Mugello, Portimao, Silverstone, Spa would be fantastic.
Rockingham is closed and being used as a car storage facility, IIRC Lausitzring is mostly a test track now. the problem with IndyCar going to Europe and doing road courses is they are about the same speed as F2 cars, I doubt European fans would be impressed. American sponsors probably don’t care, no euro engine manufacturers, etc etc. not a lot of fan interest or commercial interest.
Building an oval in the UK was like trying to make igloos in the Sahara, that was idiotic. Good riddance to Rockingham. Lausitz of course means bad memories and is too far east for most Europeans to drive to. The fact that they are F2 pace similar is not so relevant to me, far slower races manage to be thrilling, they should advertise just how competitive Indycar is, you never know which of the many potential winners will triumph.
I think Roger Penske is wise enough to say "Hey Graham, you worry about being more consistently competitive in your race car and I'll worry about where we race, OK"?

I hope he did not break his scaphoid, having the steering wheel jacknife in his hands when hitting a wall. That happened to me in Formula Ford at Cadwell Park in the UK in 1987, three months of cast is needed as those small wrist bones are irrgiated very little by the blood stream hence they heal very slowly. Thank God I had that right at the end of the season in October but for him it would mean no Indy 500 etc. Romain is having a better day, he went from 18th in opening practice yesterday to P1 today!
Herta comes through for Honda in the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach qualifying. Too bad Grosjean bins it.
Wow. Great job by Newgarden. I think he's the new Dixon. He's in the right place at the right time and seems immune to pressure.
he did a great job defending Grosjean did a great job not putting both of them in the fence good race.
I said that when Penske acquired IndyCar. Of course I was shut down by the F1 absolutists, but I think there’s a possibility for successful IndyCar races in a few European markets, especially those than no longer have F1 races.
Does Indycar put the full race replays on Youtube or somewhere else like IMSA does? Wanted to watch the race yesterday but life got in the way.
They put two versions on Youtube a five minute resume and a half hour one, that is the one I watch since I do not have any other way to see the race (even with a VPN it is all blocked now as we found out with my nerd recently, same for F1).

If you have Peacock or Peacock premium I think they have them up a while after the actual race. Sent from my Samsung Note 8 using Tapatalk
If you have Comcast/Xfinity, Peacock is part of the deal. Comcast owns NBC. A lot of people still don't realize this.
