What more proof than the race at New Hampshire that nobody wants to attend these events which are run by total and complete imbeciles. Only hope that Andretti and others pull the plug and go ALMS with a once a year foray into the only race to count, the 500.

I have no clue why Brian Barnhart still has a job.

sounded like a few drivers are about ready to escort him out via a window if IRL doesn't do it on their own.

the problem is, that happens every few months.

after today's race, he basically said "whoops, sorry about that folks". c'mon. imagine if the competition director of NASCAR did that, he'd be gone in a week.

I apologize. The rain issues here and at NASCAR's Watkins Glen event are my fault.

Last night I discovered the "heavy rain" setting on the PS3 F1 game and liked it.

    Coincidence? I think not.

    That said, WTF?! :(

In Barnhart's interview, he said, straight out, "Not one pit box informed us that their driver considered the track to be too wet to restart." Now that's either a bald-faced lie, or about the worst case of miscommunication that's ever happened.

Danica's in-car video seemed to indicate that she barely touched the throttle and it got away from her.

TG taught him that lies are the way to go.

BB has been part of the problem for many years. I hope they see the light, but won't hold my breath.

They (IRL) said that nobody gave the green flag, and you can see the yellow waving as everyone approaches the flagstand, but all you hear on the radio is 'go-go-go-go'.

Those drivers should have pulled an Indy F1 2004 (?) and ALL of them just come in and pit/stop.

We have better officiating in our slot car league - we have none.

I watched that yesterday, I'm thinking "their people will be talking to his people"....

That's just uncalled for, and could well cause the team some significant sponsor backlash, he should keep things like that in mind, when he faces personal dissapointment.

Throw something, or kick your tool box, but maintain some dignity, for yourself and your team.
I guess AJ taught me that!!

It's about the show, not the drivers.

Anyhoo, I can't believe I haven't seen this plastered everywhere, but Danica is apparently leaving IRL next year, for NASCAR? So then it doesn't really matter how the IRL officiating goes, they are done. Without Danica there will be zero fans.

It may have been different if he was a physically imposing individual like AJ, but he looked like a pissy jockey jumping out of a go cart and stumping off because he got beat.
Reminds me of another pissy little driver...
    F’ Will Power. Total tool.
Can’t believe there are not more jokes about the lack of willpower Will Power showed …

    ROTFLMAO!

Yep, he can lose his temper and still be pretty civil about it, as he dresses down Goodyear or his own crew or whoever has upset him that day......
