Palou does it. 3 straight 500 poles for Ganassi strong month of May for Palou so far on to the big show
The speeds are top heavy with Chevys but ultimately Honda prevails. And . . . the big H tends to have better fuel economy on race days.
To the general public and/or casual fan having a woman in the field is probably more interesting than having Graham Rahal. So I hope they don't bump Kate.
The RLL guys must be wondering what they're doing wrong. Same chassis, engine and tires as the cars at the front of the field, and they struggle to do 229 while the other guys are doing 234.....
agree, huge PR foul to take her out. I do find it hilarious the part time driver who hasn’t run an IndyCar in a decade was the only RLL driver locked in yesterday
That's a stat that's telling, but seldom seen. How does this year compare to others? Separately, the only motorsport coverage this Monday morning was about the NASCAR race. One of the 2 Twin Cities papers had nothing, repeat, nothing at all. Sent from my SM-A102U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
do the local media guys have their own sports departments for national sports news, or just buying contact from AP/ESPN/etc? as to the field spread- I dunno, but 5-6 mph seems to be the norm from a quick glance
I'm pretty sure they are buying content. I think, think, that an away Vikings game was NOT covered by local sports guys last year, at least by one of the local newspapers(that'd be the one that should die). Oh oh, my mistake...looking again; the 2nd paper had a few paragraphs(blurb section) about IndyCar and NASCAR.
Kat and Stefan Wilson just tripped over each other in practice Stefan's car is demolished (tub damage) and he's on the way to the hospital with back pain. Kat is out of her car on her own power. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
RLL is going to fix Kat's car Dreyer and Reinbold has a backup car, so if Stefan is cleared they should be OK. if he's not cleared, will be curious if Graham pays for that seat. (and if Honda will let him race a Chevy...)
