    Hey all,

I'm in the process of reconfiguring a new controller for one of the robotic machines I build and I can't believe some of the prices of this stuff these days.

Years ago I thought about doing some drive by wire throttle but the controls were a bit pricey . .. I have this controller now that can control 2 axes and also has 3 analog inputs so you could program the position to be adjustable by just turning a dial . . .. kinda geeky stuff . .. another app I kicked around was making an adjustable rear wing. Another cool app would be some kind of adjustable length intake runner setup :).

Just wanted to share and plant a few seeds in case there's projects for something like this . .. controllers are still like $800 but that's dirt cheap for closed loop brushless servo control of two axes.

Here's one of 'em and I already have an OEM account with 'em . .. nice they have some online pricing too.

You have a project in mind? Something for boating perhaps? I remember a lot of apps for sailing years ago.
