I recently acquired this ‘83 QV, looking to track down its story. Will be updating the registry shortly. It’s a LH Euro config (L engine type, B market, 0 market check), a plate suggests it was delivered initially to France? But it has some US adjustments such as front spoiler and ride height. It’s also been repainted and the paint sticker isn’t visible, curious how I can get original color info? Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
Well, if the car was originally sold in France, you could start the trail from here and try an E-Mel to Charles Pozzi, which was the historic importer. My understanding is that their archives are not always comprehensive, so they might answer that they do not have any information, but should they have any, they would usually sent it to you. As the old french saying goes: "ça ne mange pas de pain" = "it doesn't eat any bread" meaning, "why not, at least it doesn't cost anything". You might try from their generic E-Mel adress (google "Charles Pozzi Ferrari contact" and there you are). Five years ago, these two persons were very helpful, but that was five years ago...don't know if they are still working there. [email protected] [email protected] Rgds
I have reached out to the addressees above, didn’t bounce so assume still active. No response yet, will try the general address soon. It’s absolutely a Pozzi car… Click on pic, need to work on sizing…
What is sometimes called the Euro front spoiler is actually the optional deep spoiler - and was optional in Europe as well. The standard Euro spoiler is the same as the standard US spoiler. Ride height isn't necessarily a differentiator either, the Euro QVs still have big fender gaps above the tires... Cheers, Gordon (with an 84 Euro GTS QV in my garage)
Did US and Euro cars use the same springs? If so, that could explain the large fender gaps in some Euro car. 250-300lbs difference in vehicle weights.

Thank you, sent emails to the previous addresses, no response yet, just sent one to Pauline. Stay tuned…
Update: heard back from Pozzi, they have the original warranty card but no other info. The card has name blacked out (appropriately) but does show it went to Bayonne first. Stuck again…
