Guys, I've been a member here for over 5 years, and although this is only my 2nd post I've been a lurker and have learned a lot. I know through participation in forums, that often the forum members will have had discussions about specific cars that are for sale. Many times these discussions have inside info with firsthand knowledge of the car. I was just reading one here last week where a guy was looking at a car that other forum members had already checked out, and they alerted him to some issues with the car. I cannot think of a BETTER use for a forum that that. Here's the car I've been eyeing. It's been available for at least a month or so from this dealer. Any insight on the car, or the dealer? All this will determine my next step, which would be researching who best to do a PPI on it. Thanks, and hopefully it won't be 2014 until I make my next post.... EDIT....sorry, car is in Indiana, NOT Ohio.
6,000 miles? Holy smokes, this thing has barely been driven...but like RickyN said, the service history is important. Once you have that on hand then you can consider giving an offer based on the service
these guys are the real deal, been around a long time and stand behind their cars. I do a lot of PPI for them, they know that I don't cover anything up, the customer gets the straight information. More often than not, they take care of anything found pre-sale. HTH, Brian www.eurocardoc.com
I you want a nice 98 355GTB F1, pm 285ferrari here. His is tops. If you want a 95 355GTB 6 speed, pm me.
Honestly, I'm not too wrapped up in the F1 gearbox. My requirements are red ext/tan int (I know, boring right?), that it be a Berlinetta, that it have reasonable mileage (say 5,000 to 40,000 miles), that it be cosmetically as perfect as possible, and has an impeccable service history, backed up by a clean PPI. I'd be as ok with a 30,000 mile '95 6 speed as the car in the links I posted as long as it met the requirements above. Hell, it'd cost less!
