    A friend of mine has a 1964 QP sitting in his barn since 1976. The engine is still out of the car and had been rebuilt. The body needs some welding and a new paint. Left front seat leather is bad. For sentimental reasons he considers restoring it, but there seems to be little technical info and parts available, much less than for a 3500GT.
    I have suggested he looks for an other QP in good condition and buys it, rather than spend about 20k$ in parts and many hundred hours in labor on his car.
    But there seem to be no QP I of the 1960's on the market.
    Can anybody make suggestions?

    Leake auctions sold three two weeks ago. non ran but looks complete they sold for about8500 ea there is a thread under the 400 ferrari section with results. i paid 10,000 ea for my three. two ran but need lots of work. saw one sell several years ago for 22000 that really needed nothing. BUT the market is tough now and four door Maserati are a tough sell.

    Thanks for your info. This really means restoring should only be made for sentimental reasons, which is the case for my friend! you will never recup the investment .
    Do you know sources for parts??
