    I have just purchased this car which has been through the auctions the last couple of years. The car was owned or maintained by a Cletus Cardenhour in Clearwater,Fl in August of 1981. The car has a sticker on it indicating that it participated in a Daytona Speekweek FCA event around that time.

    Clete Gardenhour lives in St Pete, Florida. I'm sure he's in the phone book. If not, you can probably find his # by googling "Safety Harbor British" as he was chairman of this year's show. Clete's a great guy!

    I know Clete as we are both GTC owners. I see him every few months at a Ferrari or other car event in the SE. Clete is a great caretaker of his cars. Both his current GTC and his BBi before were show quality.

    Wow... 11 years later. I just happened to plug this serial number into Google and this post popped up. This car once belonged to my uncle, Don Madak, from Atlanta, Georgia. He is the one that participated in the Daytona Speedweek. I actually have a picture of it on my wall here in my office when it was at Daytona.
