Morning everyone, hope you had a great Christmas!
Quick question. Header tank on my 82 2v Injected euro 308 has rusted out and has sprung pinhole leaks. Plan to buy one to replace from Superformance as I'm in the UK.
They list a black painted ally one which I like the idea of, no future rust etc, but its listed as a tank for a US car and mine is a Euro car. (their part no 30810172), then an original steel tank (120273).
Was there a difference between tanks on US and Euro cars?
They look similar in the pics but that's not always a 100% true likeness. Have emailed Superformance, waiting to hear back, but wondered if you guys knew?

I have an 81 euro which I bought the superformance alloy one to replace after my new steel one rusted out after 3 years. The only difference was I had to fit a 1/8 npt plug in the bottom of the tank for a sensor that euro cars didn’t have. Otherwise a direct bolt up. Just a word of advice though, the alloy header tank “blows up” more than the steel one under pressure so you need to be ok with the look of it

US cars have a bung soldered on for an EGR vacuum switch. It can be left empty.
