Its nice but I think it could be simpler and less costly by not having individual throttle plates as well as look more stock. Ive been considering this type of setup for my boxer.

Wow that is reall something to see! What a RARE sight! Is this injection system a sequencial-firing system or do all the injectors pulse uniformely? I like the idea of eliminating the aux. air valves and cold start injectors and associated hardware. With electronic fuel injection you could run more radical cams and do some other tuning and tweaking - I wonder how much more power the flat-12 could make? It would be great to see more TRs with this kind of thing. I also wonder as uzz32soarer did as to what type of injectors are those? Are new fuel pumps necessary or does the stock system make enough pressure for this application?

Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm just fascinated with this modification and would consider doing it to my TR. So if anyone would like to elaborate more in these types of conversions please do so.

    Jeff,

This isn't one of my cars, just something that I had heard of and sent a fellow in Sydney around to have a look and get some pictures for us.

I'm also looking at doing electronic injection on one of my cars so have been ardently looking to gather information.

ANy body else have infor on aftermarket injection systems fitted to the flat 12's?

This does look awesome. Would like to know more about it as well, and most importantly, I'd like to know the increase in performance: HP, torque, mpg, etc.

Both Norwood and Carobu Engineering have extensive experience in this space. A 2v Boxer motor can make almost 410hp and 400ft-lbs and that's without crazy stuff. A 4v TR motor with porting and headwork, full EFI w/aggressive advance, coil-on-plug, hotter cam, pistons/rods/crank will probably make 520hp and 440ft-lbs.

I was going to pull the K-Jet crap off my BBi and go Motec but I have since mellowed and decided to keep her stock for now.

The butterflys are the throttle bodies? Hmmm. I thought they were there to tune the intake manifold (variable intake geometry).
