Try Ferrari UK Classic parts. They may have in stock.
Ferrari UK Classic parts:
60631200 RH INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE £88.05
60631300 LH INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE £0.00 (not available)
ARE THE RIGHT AND LEFT 82 MONDIAL INNER DOOR HANDLES INTERCHANGEABLE?
They look like they should be. Anyone know???
If the handles are the same as the Uk spec 1989 Mondial 3.2 then they are the same as a Fiat Uno. Could be worth a look.
I think they changed them from the 8 to the 3.2. I did find some RIGHT ones, which Ferrari of LI was able to fit on the left side, and it works fine.
Actually I just did this on my Mondial. Don't go with a Mondial Rt handle although you CAN make it work. Go instead with a PT # 257.30.810.02 I think this may be a 400i handle but it an exact match for the Mondial only the design of the release lever is different. Here is the good part.
PT# 60631200 MONDIAL RT Handle $362.84
PT# 257.30.810.02 Pininfarina door handle $153.96
I assume that the top of your handle is broken or that the cast tray that bolts to the armrest is broken. If so and the release lever is intact all you need to do is the take 257 part above and replace the lever by taking 1 nut off. It works perfectly. If you choose the Mondial Rt side handle you have to flip the lever over and kind of do a little bending to get it to work.
BTW I got mine from T.Rutland's, AKA Maranello Parts. I would check out one of our sponsors to see if they have the parts. They didn't when I checked.
I was trying to edit this message, but I ran beyond the 60 min. limit.
I was wrong about using the Rt side Mondial handle. Actually you have to also drill and mount the lever mounting bolt onto the other side of the handle. This will require making a spacer. You can see in the pics that the levers mount on opposite sides of the casting for Driver's and Rt side handles.
If all you need to replace is the actual handle strap then either part will work fine as a donor. Just drive out the pin and use the handle and spring.
I have enclosed some pics to help clear this up. I replaced the 275 lever because the Mondial's lever already had the bushing and bolt pressed in and it was easier than trying to press them out and press them back into the new lever.
Great info. Thanks!!!!
