Why is it that I have never heard of this car before finding this picture in a book today? It is described as "A prototype Innocenti, based on Ferrari mechanical parts, that was shown in 1964. The body was designed by Bertone."

A quick google search describes it as the Innocenti 186GT, designed by Giugiaro at Bertone. It has a 1788cc, 158HP, Ferrari V6 engine. What?

    Does anyone know more details?

It was a prototype that never went into production. Innocenti started making cars after WWII; they were a steel manufacturer before the war.
