What inserts would you have in the Daytona seats of a red/tan F-car

  1. Red inserts

  2. Black inserts

  3. Other color (please specify)

  4. No inserts at all - leave it all tan

I'm curious whether red or black inserts would look better on a red/tan 360 or 575. I can't decide. What do you think?

    Pics if you've got 'em!

I'm attaching a pic of no inserts (but red piping.) I really like inserts though, I just can't decide between red and black.

I'm not a fan of tan interiors in 360s because the tan clashes with all the aluminum bits in the interior. To my eyes the only non-clashing leather colors are the real dark ones like navy or black. I think the designer got a little carried away with the aluminum theme (OK, the car is aluminum -- we get it!).

But, if you must have it, how about black inserts to go with black carpets. And definitely lose the piping!

This would be my question upon my future order of the 360 replacement. My tan doesn't clash with the alumium in my car. The Ferari tan is the only tan interior I have liked with exterior red.

    I agree.

I think light gray and dark gray go well with the aluminum and also go well with a red exterior. Red interior also goes with aluminum, but not with red exterior. Black will work as well as gray... but of course would be much hotter in the sun.

Agreed. With tan, I'd do black inserts to tie in with the upper dash and steering wheel. Definitely not red.

Another suggestion - have you considered getting cuoio instead of tan?

Nah, I definitely like the classic tan. And I think I'm leaning to black inserts.

So, I see some people have voted for the tan w/ red inserts. Does anyone have a pic of this? There seem to be a lot of cars with the black floating around, but I'd really like to see a pic of tan w/ red.

How about Bourdeaux? I admit I am prejudiced, though.

Exactly, cuoio inserts and use Sabia stitching, this is one of the best combos I have ever seen, not very common so its scary to some.

I think the tan Daytonas with red inserts look the best with tan carpet. If black carpet I like the tan/black inserts combo.

Very nice picture. All three options look good. I like the red inserts myself...it ties in the whole interior well! The red leather accents goes well with the aluminum trim and the red goes well with the tan interior, perfect tie in ;) Good luck :)
