    A plea for help.

The inside passenger door handle has just given up and won't open the door, it lifts but nothing happens. The outside door handle seems to be a little bit ajar but still works fine.

Does anyone have any experience with this and or a fix before I take it to Italian Motors in HK and donate a massive amount of money to their cause.

    Thanks

    Andrew

Take off the door panel and adjust the length of the threaded rod. You can sometimes do this by just removing the arm rest and using a couple of little wrenches.

Thanks Andrew, I give it a go. I'm off to Goodwood on the 10th of next month, too bad it's in the wrong country!

Take off the center of the door panel. Its held on with phillip head screws. Then you will see the plastic retaining clip either fell off the rod or is broken. Its an easy fix. Dont sweat it

Thanks Ferris, hope you're feeling better, if not I'll send a nurse over.

If the clip is broken. Ricambi has a supply. When they get old they become brittle: there are two sizes,if you are not sure, order both sizes-they are cheap.
