For the people who have never been there. This is a very good video about the inside of the factory. When we visited the factory last october there was a filmcrew busy inside the factory. They were french people and because this comments with the video is french it could be this video they were making that day. Watch and have fun: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6457427583913966018&q=ferrari
GREAT VIDEO! It shows what we have already seen on the tour, but it is fun to see it all again. Thanks!
Excellent video Some pretty insane stuff on this one: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5113396485637070432
Roel. Sad to say, but NO - this is not the October movie I got this movie from Jurg when I visited him last summer during SPA - it came with a magazine which he had bought earlier. The "b" side on this disc is an comercial movie of the F430, F360, Enzo, 612 and the 575M - VERY COOL stuff! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
IT IS, INDEED The comercial part is awsome, according to Jurg (my french sux) this vid were made at a PRIVATE owned "race track"....hmmm, think I'll build myself a race track in my own back yard!
Great vid of the factory. But it does all seem to be so, er, modern and op-to-speed at the assembly lines, compared to 'the old days'. What's all the green stuff - marihuana?!
@Bram, yes it is a modern factory comparing to the "old" days. Bit still very "old fashion" comparing to other factories. I visited Nedcar a few months ago. They built the Smart forfour and the Mitsubishi Colt. You really can't compare.
Green stuff?? You mean the plants? Ferrari factory is one of the most "green" factories in Italy. They won lot of prices because they care about the invirement so much. Guide told us last october while visiting the factory.
Roel, thanks for sharing. The factory has improved a lot in the last 20 years; did visit regularly the manufacturing shop till 1985 , now can notice the same difference between my GT4 and a FXX.... Would suggest to post the link in the Technical section to share with the F-chatters from overseas, maybe there are still peolple thinking Ferrari factory is a kind of old style mess.
