    Hey guys,

Fabspeed wanted to take some time to put together a short video for you all to have an insiders look into our company and our production process. In the wake of many claims and attacks, this video provides an insight into the step by step manufacturing process of our Porsche 997 Twin Turbo Supersport X-pipe using USA stainless, HJS 200 Cell cats and in-house fabrication. I know that this is a Ferrari site, though I thought that this was equally at home in the technical sub forum as it is not truly vehicle specific, it is how we a;ways produce things, it just happened to be a Turbo this time :)

Fabspeed Motorsport was actually the first company to develop an x-pipe system back in '99 for the 996 Turbo. We've spent the last 15 years perfecting the x-pipe design, including the addition of genuine HJS sport catalytic converters and several dimensional changes of the X as well as the tubing to provide the best sound and performance possible. The X-pipe design is quickly becoming an industry standard for Porsche turbo applications. Having the "X" tie together both banks of the exhaust gases creates a completely unique, exotic and high pitched sound that is exactly what the Porsche Turbo's need and deserve to match their legendary performance.

The system uses a cast "X" and German-imported HJS 200-cell Tri-Metallic core directional cats that work together with the overall design to pick up +32hp and +37 ft.lbs of torque (996TT). The Fabspeed X-pipe is covered by a limited lifetime warranty and continuous customer support for technical questions, installation recommendations, and future modifications.

    Hi Evan,

Do you know which 200cell cats Fabspeed is using from HJS for 458 italia?
    There is HD 9095 0182 (up to 5.0L and 350 hp x 2) and HD 9095 0165 (up to 3.5L and 280 hp x 2)

From the pictures of both fabspeed and capristo 200 cell sport cats, it looks like it is HD 9095 0165.
