    Just spoke with FOA. They aren't even certified to do yearly inspections in house due to low volume so I was curious, if you guys in ATX aren't bringing it in for an annual at the same time as needing the yearly inspection, where do you take yours?

    I'm barely comfortable letting the corner shop take my S4 to inspect it, definitely don't want them messing w/the Ferrari if they aren't familiar with the car.

    Last year I took mine to Moorespeed, they checked it to make sure there were no codes and checked the safety stuff. they shuffled it to the inspection station and came back with the inspection sticker.
    Its a bit pricey though

    On the other hand... for the second inspection i took it to an inspection station in bastrop county and no emissions are required, it's just safety (wish i had known that first) cost $15

    David at Moorespeed told me he runs the cars over to M. E. Gene Johnson on Airport, just west of I35. I've done it myself the last couple of times, they know who he is and they've always been very respectful of my cars (they didn't even want to drive the 911).

    I take my TR (which gets the tailpipe emission test) to the Kwik Kar on Red Bud just north of Gattis School Road in Round Rock. On a more modern model like yours, the test is even less intrusive (and you can watch the whole thing from the waiting room).

    Oh wow, Steve, you're that close? I live at Gattis/A.W. Grimes. If you are in the area I'm surprised I haven't seen your TR before.

    I take all our cars to Terry's Burnet Rd. Inspections on Jim Hogg ave. He is well versed on the Ferraris and does the inspections for FOA
